From 1 April 2023 it will be unlawful to continue to let substandard commercial property, that is property with an EPC rating of below E. This session will discuss how landlords might best prepare for the deadline – whether through the carrying out of relevant energy efficiency improvements, the enforcement of obligations that tenants might have, or relying on the exclusions or exemptions that might be relevant.
